Reporting an error
If an answer on the site looks wrong or out of date, please tell us. It helps to include:
- The page and the state you are writing about.
- What you believe the correct answer is.
- A link to the statute, regulation, or agency page that shows it.
Every page also has a "Report an error" link that fills in the page name for you. We recheck reported answers against the official source and fix confirmed errors. See the corrections policy for what happens next.
Suggesting a topic
Know a rule or quirk that changes at the state line? Send it our way. The best topics have a clear yes-or-no or this-or-that answer in each state, backed by a statute, regulation, or official state page.
What we can't help with
QuirkMaps explains what state laws and official practices say, but we can't give legal advice about your situation. For that, contact the state agency listed on the relevant page or a licensed attorney in your state.
