Oregon: Do you need a front license plate?
Front and rear plates
Oregon requires license plates on both the front and rear of a passenger car.
Oregon DMV issues two plates for most vehicles, including ordinary cars, and the law requires them on the front and rear. Only one plate is issued for mopeds, motorcycles, trailers, campers, and antique or special-interest vehicles, and that plate goes on the rear.
What the law says
The plate must be displayed on the rear of the vehicle, if only one plate is required. Plates must be displayed on the front and rear of the vehicle if two plates are required.
