Idaho: Does the state have a sales-tax-free weekend?
No tax-free period
Idaho has a 6% state sales tax and no sales tax holiday.
Idaho law sets a 6% sales tax and provides no tax-free period. Neither the statute nor the State Tax Commission's sales tax page mentions a holiday. This is inferred from that absence; no official page says outright that Idaho has none.
What the law says
An excise tax is hereby imposed upon each sale at retail at the rate of six percent (6%) of the sales price of all retail sales subject to taxation under this chapter and such amount shall be computed monthly on all sales at retail within the preceding month.
