Florida: Does the state have a lottery?

Has a state lottery

Florida runs a state lottery, selling tickets since 1988, whose net proceeds support public education.

Ticket sales began on January 12, 1988, with the first scratch-off game. By law, net proceeds are to support improvements in public education and are not supposed to replace existing school funding. Florida added Powerball in 2009 and Mega Millions in 2013.
