Nebraska: Does the state have a lottery?

Has a state lottery

Yes. Nebraska runs a state lottery through the Lottery Division of the Department of Revenue, as allowed by the state constitution.

The Nebraska Constitution lets the legislature set up a lottery run and regulated by the state, and the State Lottery Act gives that job to the Department of Revenue's Lottery Division. After prizes and costs, the money is split mainly between education (44.5%), the Nebraska Environmental Trust Fund (44.5%), the State Fair (10%), and help for problem gamblers. The lottery sells Powerball and Mega Millions.
