Alaska: Are happy hour drink specials legal?
Alaska bans happy hours: bars may not charge less than their regular price for any period shorter than seven days.
Alaska law bars licensees that sell by the drink from selling drinks below the price regularly charged over a consecutive seven-day period, so a lower price has to last at least a full week. The same law bans free drinks as a marketing device, unlimited drinks for a fixed price, serving someone who already has two or more drinks, and drinking games. Licensees may not advertise these practices on or off the premises. Private functions not open to the public are exempt from the pricing rules.
What the law says

(3) sell, offer to sell, or deliver alcoholic beverages to a person or group of persons at a price less than the price regularly charged for the beverages during a consecutive seven-day period
