Arizona: Are happy hour drink specials legal?
Allowed with limits
Arizona allows happy hours but bans unlimited drinks for a fixed price, drinking contests, and oversized servings.
Arizona law sets no hours or discount cap for drink specials. It does make it unlawful for bars to sell unlimited drinks during a set period for a fixed price, to hold drinking contests, or to serve one person more than 50 ounces of beer, one liter of wine, or four ounces of distilled spirits at one time. Advertising these banned practices is also unlawful.
