Mississippi: Is there an annual vehicle safety inspection?
No safety inspection
Mississippi repealed its annual motor vehicle safety inspection law effective July 1, 2015.
A 2015 law (House Bill 982) repealed the Mississippi Motor Vehicle Safety Inspection Law and ended the yearly inspection sticker. The same law kept a separate window-tint check: tint inspection stations test tinted windows and issue a label for a fee.
