Vermont: Where can you buy liquor?
Vermont sells liquor only through 802Spirits agency stores: private businesses under contract with the state, selling state-owned liquor at state-set prices.
The Department of Liquor and Lottery buys all spirits and supplies local agency stores, which operate under contracts with the Board of Liquor and Lottery. The Board adopts the prices agency stores charge. Spirits can be sold only in towns that vote to allow them.
Conditions
- Town must vote to permit spirits sales
