Kansas: Is it legal to pump your own gas?

Self-serve allowed

Kansas allows drivers to pump their own gas. State law and fire marshal rules expressly cover self-service stations.

A Kansas statute governs stations that offer both self-service and full-service. There, attendants must pump fuel for drivers with disability plates or placards who are parked at the self-service pumps. Fire marshal rules require training for attendants and cashiers at self-service stations and adopt NFPA 30A (2008), the national standard for fuel stations. None of these bar or limit customers pumping their own gas.
